What's a Good Belly?
It's a belly that is full of food and completely and utterly satisfied. The Good Belly Project will spread this feeling to East Africa, where the UN has declared the worst famine in the past 60 years. And a Somalian child is dying of famine every 6 minutes.
So Boston-based advertising agency Mullen is partnering with Unicef and Made by Many to help. On October 16, World Food Day, we are launching the Good Belly Project. And we are inviting all foodies to use their passion for food to fill bellies in East Africa.
Good Belly Project
The Good Belly Project partners with restaurants around Boston and uses a popular photo sharing app called Instagram to fill bellies. When you eat at a Good Belly Restaurant, take pictures of your meal with Instagram. Tag the photos #goodbellyproject and set the restuarant as your location. Then share these photos and encourage others to become Good Bellies too. The more photos you take the more bellies you feed. Because for every photo you post, the restaurant will donate $1. All the proceeds will go to East Africa to help with the famine. A full belly is a good belly.
